THE CHALLENGE

Our Product Strategy & Operations Manager will focus on best practices for our Product organization, to help us drive scale and operational excellence. Three key areas of focus include scaling the Product organizations processes, monitoring market trends and activity and helping drive a world class launch of our solutions. This role will help us drive velocity, innovation and a laser focus on our current and future customers.


THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to work with a committed Product Management team delivering an awesome product, to drive scale, excellence and strategic thinking. The role offers a great deal of variety and a chance to grow your experience in Product Management discipline, product launch, customer engagement and market research.


THE TEAM

In the Product Strategy & Operations role you will report to the Head of Product, and work collaboratively with a distributed team of product management and design experts. You will also have the opportunity for cross functional collaboration across our entire company - Engineering, Services, Support, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing.

THE SKILL SET

  • Experience in B2B SaaS software
  • Experience in Product Management
  • Clear understanding of the market and personas we are serving with our Talent Acquisition suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience with customer engagement
  • An understanding of product launch and its cross functional implications

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL

  • Complete Ramp Camp, our onboarding program designed to get you up to speed on our business, vision, and team.
  • Develop a clear understanding of our current process for planning, launch and release delivery
  • Gain a better understanding of our market and the key competitors we track
  • Get to know the Product and Design teams, and meet key cross functional partners

WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Get deeply engaged in the launch plan for our next release and represent Product throughout the process
  • Start to identify and track key customer and market trends relevant to our offer
  • Learn Lever’s product
  • Collaborate with Engineering around release planning processes 
  • Engage in loss/churn meetings with Sales and CS
  • Sit in on customer discovery calls
  • Partner with Product Analyst to ensure Product leadership dashboards are current and complete

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Begin to drive process improvement in collaboration with the team in areas like launch and roadmap planning
  • Engage with Product Marketing with input to key messaging and positioning for our releases
  • Proactively track market/competitive information to inform our product strategy and roadmap
  • Work cross functionally with a continued focus on enablement and adoption around our releases
  • Deliver roadmap presentations to customers

WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Proactively lead operational improvement with key metrics in place
  • Actively provide feedback to our Product team to influence investment priorities based on internal and customer interaction
  • Identify emerging trends and how we might take advantage of them
  • Participate in enablement as a subject matter expert
