Product Specialist

The Product Specialist reports directly to the Senior Product Owner . This role would be responsible for managing day-to-day operational projects and performance for a digital solution(s) .

Accountabilities

  • S upport senior product owner for several digital initiatives within a portfolio



  • Supports overall product life cycle and product portfolio optimization within an agile team, while maintain expectations within business stakeholders
  • Responsible for day-to-day execution of product roadmap
  • Documents use cases and prepares work for the development team
  • Lead and manage requirements and the work against those requirements to complete epics and initiatives by helping with Discovery work and Story creation
  • Work cross functionally with the internal business units, vendors, and IT tech team to complete work against strategic plans



  • Assists with building business cases to manage the pipeline/portfolio which includes developing strategic roadmaps, establishing methods to evaluate and refine initiatives, and highlighting portfolio tradeoffs for executive decision-making
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product based on business value and/or ROI
  • Assist with product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Communicate feature releases to stakeholders and Business SMEs
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product



  • Be the advocate for the customer and work on engaging them in a 1:1 basis oftentimes.



Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in product owner and/or digital field
  • Strong project management background and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles



  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Attention to details
