Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in tech, sales strategy, product specialist, or product marketing.
  • Experience with people management and recruiting talent.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple functions and product areas.
  • Knowledge and understanding of YouTube ecosystem (e.g., viewers, partners, advertisers, etc.) and products.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and build excellent relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to synthesize user feedback into findings for products and simplify/translate complex product offerings for users.
  • Excellent people management, project management, clear communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Investigative mindset and excellent strategic thinking with attention to detail.

Go-To-Market and Support Solutions (GSS) is a global team working to ensure our users get the most out of YouTube. We provide dedicated and scaled support, strategic go-to-market (GTM) plan development, partnership resources, product and policy insights based on user feedback, and scaled partnership management to ensure that all users can thrive within the YouTube ecosystem. We ensure products get to market, support users when they need help, and capture user feedback to drive product excellence and market fit.

Product Solutions is the link between YouTube products and business. As part of the GTM and Support Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that YouTube has developed the best product strategy and work to drive success with users. We provide product solutions across all product areas at YouTube (e.g., Monetization, Surfaces and Apps, Content ID, Music and Paid Subs, Creator Tools, Community, Trust and Safety, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of high performing product specialists that work on the YouTube Partner Program and the broader partner ecosystem.
  • Set the strategy for the team, manage and influence cross-functional executive stakeholders, and drive execution on product and business priorities; manage technical issues from the field and provide guidance on resolution to partnership teams.
  • Interface and align with Product, Operations, Public Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Content Partnerships.
  • Work with Product teams to shape product strategy, maximize growth for existing products, craft go-to-market strategy for products, and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Ads, Marketing, Public Relations, Scaled education, Operations, and Content Partnerships teams to guarantee market readiness, communications, training, and support for launches.
