Job Description We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Product Security Lead to join our Management Tools team. The role will partner and own security objectives for the applications aligned within our Management Tools product line. The right individual will be a proactive, self-starter that enjoys and thrives connecting with people and leveraging technology to solve security challenges at scale. You will be part of building out a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operational oversight. You will share your expertise, thought leadership, and support, within your team and across all our business and technology groups. You will define best practices, implement new policies, and embrace emerging trends to strengthen our security roadmap as part of you and your team's deliverables.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships as a security leader with the Product Engineering line, ISM partners, and internal Cyber teams as Product Security Lead
  • Onboard, coach and develop the team; creating a culture of innovation, collaboration and continual improvement
  • Create a security roadmap of the target state view by consulting product teams
  • Wear many hats and gain experience with tools, technologies and platforms across many technology stacks
  • Work closely and share ideas with fellow Architects, Developers and Technical Product Owners as a representative of the Cybersecurity organization back to the lines of business
  • Consistent learner, grow rapidly from constant exposure to innovative ideas, concepts, and patterns
  • Using data insights to inform and drive security framework decisions and directions
  • Integration of threat modeling practices into the product life cycle
  • Candidates must be able to approach application security from the perspective of risk management
  • Works closely with vendor partners to ensure our security and data entitlement requirements are consistent with firm-wide standards
  • Contributing to or leading definition of security standards and guidance towards compliance outcomes
  • Presenting planning outcomes and innovative ideas to executive leadership for the purposes of alignment and key decision making
  • You are passionate about application security and realizing measurable deliverables
  • Able to see the impact of near term and long term choices, and are great at explaining it
  • Excel at building and leveraging trust with technical & people leaders across teams to gain alignment


Qualifications

  • BS/MS or equivalent experience
  • Extensive industry experience focusing on application security
  • 6 years or more experience in a formal people leadership role
  • Prior security experience in Banking/FinTech sector is a plus
  • A clear understanding of application and data security models, able to map outcomes to control objectives
  • Successful candidates will be security evangelists who can translate security concepts into language that is meaningful to many audiences
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure timely and aligned delivery of solutions to security strategies
  • Ability to evaluate new technologies and keep up with the latest security trends
  • A strong software security engineering and/or architecture background is required
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business objectives and technologies directions
  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
