The Product Owner position requires experience in working on agile teams and self-motivated initiative to continuously improve the Product Owner role in alignment with best practices. Manage and prioritize backlog by collaborating with the Product Manager and stakeholders.

The ability to consult with users to understand their needs and trends in user feedback, translate the user's feedback into software functions and features that delight our customers. Use strong leadership skills to lead the software development and cross-functional team to build software that drives the desired outcome of innovative industry-leading software products.

  • Lead agile teams as the Product Owner
  • Provide vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Create requirements and use cases that align with the vision and direction of the product
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Define product vision, road-map, and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Use analytics to determine the success of feature releases and take corrective action if needed
  • Responsible to ensure that the team is doing the right work at the right time
  • Provides work direction to Tier II and Testing teams as needed
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
  • Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.



Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 5 year(s)
  • Certification of CPO from the Agile Alliance
  • 4 Year degree in business or business technology or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
  • Customer first mindset
  • Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with Product Management, stakeholders, and technical teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-Motivated with the initiative to continue to learn and develop your skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Attention to details
