WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The nCiio Product Owner is a key contributor in helping manage the successful enterprise-wide implementation and of the nCino Bank Operating System at City National Bank. The product owner will be responsible for partnering with the Lines of Business teams, business functions, and IT teams to define product needs and opportunities within line of business(es) and/or functions. They will collaborate with business, technology and analytics partners to prioritize, articulate and deliver new features from ideation through production release in an Agile development environment, ensuring key outcomes are met. In doing so, this individual will work closely with an established change network, and third party support to help bring the vision to life. This will include understanding the process, people, technology, and data required to execute. This leader is responsible for the development of product features and functionality aligned with the overall product roadmap. They will partner closely with the Technology organization in jointly managing individual projects forward.This individual will be a change leader in the organization. They will work closely with stakeholders, leadership, and the project team to help understand business drivers/value, craft communications, and host check-ins to ensure the stated vision aligns to company strategy. A successful candidate will need to navigate and adjudicate decisions on the platform development for the improvement of bank-wide processingThis ambitious self-starter is comfortable working in a dynamic, high-visibility role within the organization. They continuously build colleagues' confidence and effectiveness with new CRM capabilities and tools through a Business-led, Technology-enabled Agile program. This professional orchestrates and prioritizes business needs into an evolving Roadmap to achieve CNB's nCino platform objectives, including the business case and user adoption. They will also be responsible for building out the nCino staffing model for operational support and enhancement releases.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Serve as a nCino/CRM / Salesforce evangelist within City National Bank, to bring best practices to life, drive adoption and usage, and continuously enhance the performance of the platform and processes.
- Work in close collaboration with business leaders, the CRM team, internal business partners and subject matter experts to assess project requests and ensure they are aligned with the product roadmap
- Work with key stakeholders across all business lines, channels, marketing and technology to achieve business imperatives over a 1/3/5-year implementation vision and roadmap
- Facilitate nCino business requirement gathering workshops and elicit stakeholder requirements and provide input for solution design options.
- Facilitate the refinement of, then direct the product roadmap to achieve process, technology, and cultural changes across City National
- Refine program approach on an ongoing basis, and drive multiple projects on the Salesforce.com platform, including sales, service, and marketing
- Define product requirements and work closely with technology colleagues to deliver product features
- Collaborate with development team and help drive design, build and testing of bug fixes and operational enhancements.
- Optimize product delivery based on customer needs, competitive analysis and market and technology trends
- Design and execute a prioritization model for Roadmap sequencing of delivery
- Communicate project status and milestone completion to Executive Management, Business Leaders, and Technology colleagues
- Partner with change management leadership to implement change management and user adoption strategy and metrics; ensure colleagues have training and access to information to optimally integrate CRM / Salesforce best practices into their workflow
- Build and track overall platform adoption KPIs and socialize with leadership.
- Understand data exchange patterns and data quality impacts related to nCino changes or enhancements. Ensure downstream systems and processes are not negatively impacted.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services with emphasis on the loan origination process and solid understanding of relationship management, credit underwriting, closing and booking of customer and loan data
- Minimum 5 years of experience with large transformational data driven projects with solid experience facilitating business requirements, understanding impacts and working with the business to set priorities.
- Minimum 7 years of experience planning, implementing and managing enterprise-wide transformational data projects required
Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of experience with nCino implementation and support models working in an agile environment including coordinating of training, testing and change management processes
- MBA preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Passion for the client and user experience
- Must be able and willing to work outside of normal working hours/days in order to provide a superior customer service experience
- Successful track record of leading highly engaged teams of direct reports and diverse cross-functional colleagues to achieve ambitious strategic goals
- Experience managing products at all stages of the product lifecycle
- Ability to manage complex, high-profile projects end-to-end
- Skilled relationship manager effective at collaborating and influencing across internal and external partners
- Proven ability to influence without authority when balancing the demands of multiple diverse stakeholders
- Sharp analytic skills with an ability to arrive at logical and quick conclusions, and to facilitate structured decision-making for teams and stakeholder groups
- Ability to take on increasing scope and level of responsibilities as this role evolves
- Preference for experience with Agile systems development, Salesforce.com, and /or CRM processes and platforms
Compensation
Starting base salary: $127,626 - $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
