JOB SUMMARY:
Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner II who is a key component of our strategy to be resilient to the fast-evolving AI landscape is through building the right team. This team member must demonstrate experience and aptitude in both creative content-writing and technical development to optimize autonomy in delivering customer experiences in our conversational AI platform. In addition to delivering on their own roadmap, they will also lend a hand to others with their technical savvy. They will influence our strategy for our conversational AI product through their lens on the customer experience and their expertise in how to deliver it.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Drafts clear, effective content using our virtual assistant persona's voice guidelines.
  • Develops technical skillset necessary to implement more complex intents including UI elements like buttons, images and carousels.
  • Develops platform expertise to effectively create experiences and measure intent effectiveness.
  • Helps others to understand conversational AI capabilities and identify opportunities for conversational AI experiences.
  • Partners cross-functionally including the Customer Experience Operations, Marketing & Sales, and Technology organizations.
  • Analyzes data to assess effectiveness and refine solutions.
  • Uses story telling skills to bring others along on their approach and impact.
  • As additional use cases outside of our current scope arise, develops additional skillsets to deliver good outcomes for customers and the business.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Operations, Communications, Business, Finance, Computer Science, etc.) and 2 years' experience in a related field. (i.e., Operations, Business, Technology etc.) The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Self-driven; ability to deliver value and engage leader as needed.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Academic or professional experience in coding
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Ability to tell stories through visual (PowerPoint) and verbal techniques.
  • Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress. Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.


Preferred

  • Experience with conversational AI platforms.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with process mapping tools like Visio and/or iGRAFX.
