Product Manager, Connectivity - Australia
About the Role
The Product Owner for connectivity in the Australian market will be responsible for integrating the Finicity platform with Australian financial institutions. You will be the product owner for a team of developers building, maintaining, and upgrading access to consumer permitted data through these integrations. You will work closely with the Finicity/Mastercard product managers in the US and Australia to bring those products into the global marketplace.
In this senior-level role, you will:
- Build long-term relationships with financial institutions and other holders of consumer financial data in Australia
- Consume API Specifications and communicate requirements to development team
- Work collaboratively with internal and external development teams to integrate data access APIs
- Develop API integration roadmaps
- Prioritize development work based on business objectives
- Oversee interactive production testing with live users
- Work quickly to address and resolve connectivity issues related to data access
- Provide regular updates to Finicity/Mastercard organization including senior and executive management
- Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to share information, troubleshoot issues and execute on objectives
- Collaborate with internal product and technology partners to understand data access needs and create and enforce plans to meet those needs
- Executing on strategic initiatives including creating clear business plans with defined milestones and value driven targets
- Represent Finicity/Mastercard externally with financial institutions and partners and help promote and maintain a positive company image
What you'll need to be successful:
- Familiarity with using and implementing public API’s
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage several initiatives concurrently
- Attention to detail, organized and ability to effectively prioritize and execute on priorities
- Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
- Ability to work well with others both internally and externally
- Understanding of basic web security technologies helpful but not required
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Salesforce helpful but not required
- Sales, account executive, account management and/or client support experience helpful but not required
- Background in project management helpful but not required
