Job Description:
Position Summary
Candidate will be responsible for maximizing the value of Insights across digital and associate channels. Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for the Insights, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. This role works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in the Line of Business to ensure there is alignment.
Position will create and prioritize stories in the product backlog for 1 Agile Team. Additionally, the Insights Product Owner will refine stories with the team to ensure there are enough "ready" stories to load the next 1-2 sprints, review and accept stories once development and testing are completed. The candidate will be required to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements.
Required Skills

  • 5-7 years of applicable experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence.
  • Excellent analytical and logic skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to partner with both technology and business Associates to develop and implement solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Excel, TED and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi task and work independently.


Desired Skills

  • PO Agile Certification
  • Previous Product Owner experience and a deep business understanding of loyalty/rewards/customer data.
  • Experienced with cross-functional teams.
  • IT or Business degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with BofA's Agile Framework and Tools.
  • Deep understanding of Middleware technology/Backend systems, data and data stores.
