Fluidra is seeking a Business Analyst/Product Owner that will lead our Fluidra Pro SaaS Platform and Mobile App. This position will be a Hybrid role based out of our North American Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner to lead our Fluidra Pro SaaS platform and Mobile App. Fluidra software products enable our customers to run their swimming pool construction and service business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovating and delivering high quality SaaS and Mobile Apps. In this high-profile role, you will have responsibility for defining, documenting, and leading the roadmap and development of Fluidra Pro, an industry leading SaaS solution and Mobile App. You will be presented with a continuous opportunity to work with our customers and stakeholders to identify new opportunities and enhance our product capabilities.

This opportunity is for you if you want to make a difference and have a direct impact on the company’s success. This role is critical for execution against our business strategy and has the following responsibilities:

  • Product Requirements: Gather, analyze, and clearly articulate product requirements. Make tough prioritization decisions and maintain a balance between a robust product roadmap and delivering high quality product features.
  • Product Definition: Define product features with specs, wireframes, and user journey
  • Collaboration: Work across department boundaries along with outside agencies to understand the product needs define user journey
  • Agile Product Owner: Create user stories and acceptance. Lead the sprint planning for the development team; create the sprint backlog using prioritized user stories
  • Tech and Business Savvy: Be equally at ease with disusing the technology details with engineering team and communicating product requirements and strategy with the business stakeholders
  • User Advocacy: Build a strong understanding of our customers (Pool builders and Pool service companies and homeowners) and users to empathize with their goals/challenges and advocate for their experiences

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or product development
  • 2+ years of experience working in related industry
  • Experienced in shipping SaaS or Mobile Apps
  • Adept at articulating the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills; be decisive and assertively advocate for user experience as part of the product vision
  • Ability to be flexible as needs change; move seamlessly between strategic and the tactical with a focus on the end-user needs
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of swimming pool, construction, or field service industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with IoT, home automation, industrial automation, or related is a plus

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing/business management, computer science, or engineering
