Product Operations Manager


Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, we are seeking a Product Operations Manager to define and implement processes and workflows to drive consistent delivery of product initiatives. You are data driven, results oriented and execution focused and can operate with autonomy and drive product planning and execution. Cross-functional agility is essential and you will work closely with Product, Engineering and UX teams to drive growth.


What you'll do

  • Understand our product roadmap, use cases, customer needs, and overall vision by identifying, measuring, analyzing and tracking core product and business levers: size opportunities for improvement, identify potential opportunities or problems, diagnose root cause, and conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Create and deliver accurate, high-quality reports, analyses, insights, updates and other tools to drive Product leadership decisions around strategic and operational questions. Key questions may include how to improve product adoption, product delivery, processes, or client satisfaction.
  • Regularly present findings and recommendations to product leadership using qualitative and quantitative data with a focus on new feature development, roadmap prioritization, planning, and execution. Influence key stakeholders to define and adopt appropriate metrics, goals and processes to achieve product objectives.
  • Lead execution of strategic, analytical, and technical projects. For example, growth focused projects may include go-to-market, product releases, and new product launches; and scale focused projects may include product delivery and process improvement.
  • Own communicating updates, changes, and risks to key stakeholders throughout the Product, Engineering, UX, and GTM organizations to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Understand the market, market trends, competitive dynamics, and Recharge’s product vision / strategy to identify new problems on the horizon, consistently manage the team’s roadmap toward the most valuable questions.
  • Develop opportunities and insights; back recommendations and decisions with data. Understand projection models, headcount forecasts, budgets, and help set business and team targets. Monitors forecasts vs actual to identify and address opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals.
  • Executes quickly and efficiently. Hands-on when required, but constantly striving to reduce inefficiencies and manual overhead. Removes operational barriers to team success.
  • Drive operational alignment and execution across key stakeholders, including product, engineering, UX, day-to-day operations, and select go-to-market teams to prioritize and deliver on product initiatives, as well as enable the organization to achieve its financial, product and operational goals.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in a combination of product operations, product management, consulting, project / program management or related discipline 
  • 4+ years of experience managing technical cross-functional projects / programs
  • Experience working with PMs and Engineers as your customers 
  • Understanding the evolution of product development processes and the tech tools stack in a hyper growth company
  • Experience working with product / project management tools such as Jira, Confluence
  • Experience in software development lifecycle or Agile methodologies 
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering leaders - serving as a thought partner with a bias towards pragmatic product execution
  • Experience leading projects and programs end-to-end. For example, go-to-market strategy, product delivery, and process improvement
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, organizational and program management skills
  • Experience in e-commerce, enterprise tech or similar businesses 
  • Experience with product development processes at a B2B SaaS company a plus
  • Data analysis skills, ie Excel, SQL, Tableau or other analytics is a plus
