Product Marketing Manager, Product Launch
Unanet is in an exciting growth phase! With growth comes the need for additional, cross-functional orchestration with respect to product and feature launches.
As an integral member of Unanet’s Product Marketing Team, you will drive our product launch process, ensuring new products are embraced and adopted by our employees, our customers, and our target market. This opportunity requires more than just strong project management. It is an opportunity to own the outcome of product launch for a multi-product, multi-market company.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the process. The goal of product launch is to ensure every function has clarity on what is needed for a successful product launch and overseeing its execution. You’ll take our existing, quarterly product and feature launch process and continuously improve it.
- Company readiness. You will run both quarterly and ad hoc product and feature releases across our company. You will establish schedules, identify risks and obstacles, lead cross-functional syncs, and more. You will apply your expertise in project and program management to keep everything moving forward. This includes close collaboration with our Executive Leadership Team, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations.
- Own discrete launch tasks. There may be launch tasks that have no natural owner or where we may have a resource gap. Collaborating with functional leaders, you will identify those tasks and someone to own and drive them or roll up your sleeves and own them yourself.
- Measure success. You will define and execute our approach for measuring product and feature launch success. Where the data shows opportunity for improvement, you will iterate and coach others to ensure every product release and launch is better than the last.
- Replicate your success. Once our product launch process is implemented and operational, you will identify and improve other go-to-market processes that can be improved, including our product integrations.
Your First 90 Days
In your first 30 days, you will become familiar with our customers, products, the industries we serve, and our approach to marketing, sales, and customer success. You will immerse yourself in product education, working closely with colleagues to learn about our people and the processes that make Unanet run. You will establish trust and rapport with our product marketing team, as well as others across our company.
In your first 60 days, you will have helped implement a product launch process that enables whole company readiness. Empowered by what you’ve learned thus far, you will help shape and define standards, frameworks and processes for product marketing. You’ll understand and navigate priorities and will secure alignment from others on where your focus is and why.
In your first 90 days, now you are rolling. You have a strong understanding of our market and product offerings. You are standardizing and improving our messaging. Unanet’s product launch process is working. You are able to speak credibly about our solutions with customers and prospects. Who You Are
- 5+ years of product marketing and launch experience in B2B SaaS
- Experience with Agile project management (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Proficiency with work management and collaboration technologies
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong professional presence, with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
