Want to challenge yourself at a high-growth startup AND make a difference in the world?

A bit about us

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets for the billions of people in need. We love doing good, and we happen to be exceptionally good at it too! To date, we’ve donated over $10 million AUD (roughly $7.4 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe.

Our team is made up of over 120 amazing people in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, and Europe working hard to reach our ambitious goal to have the greatest impact possible – for people and the planet. How ambitious you ask? Well, it involves increasing our annual donation 10-fold in the next couple of years to get closer to our mission – toilets and clean water for all!

A bit about the role

We’re rapidly growing our Digital Product in-house team and on the hunt for another Product Managers to join our merry band!

Reporting to our Head of Digital Product, as an official Who Gives A Crap Product Manager you’ll ensure we deliver a seamless and best-in-class onsite experience that works beautifully for our customers and our business. You’ll champion, contribute to, and execute against the product roadmap whilst working elbow-to-elbow with our two Sr. Product Managers, Product Design team, and Engineering counterparts in your pod area of ownership across the customer experience.

You’ll play a key part in testing, prioritizing, and iterating on our launch plan for our newest brand as we get into new product categories and markets among other initiatives. As the domain expert in your area of the customer experience, you’ll deliver new products and features through effective scoping, defining key metrics, requirement wrangling and leveraging data.

We’re a remote-first business and are open to talented humans from all over the world, as long as you’re dedicated to the PST for core collaboration with your greater team and have what it takes to take our user experience above and beyond. Our digital product team works across PST and AEST timezones from Los Angeles, Portland, Detroit, Melbourne, and more.

If you worked here this past six months here are some things you might have been involved in:

  • Put your slideshow and presentation chops to good use by helping our Head of Product design and co-host our very first Digital Product 101 session for new hires
  • Helped redesign our subscriber dashboard, working with our Design and Engineering counterparts, the Creative team, our external agency partners, and our broader customer experience team to roll (woop a pun!) it out
  • Contributed to our quarterly planning session by aligning on our cross-functional priorities against our annual strategy, and keeping our OKRs looking slick
  • Collaborated with our Head of Growth to revise our digital product dashboards and ensured everyone has visibility into how the site is performing
  • Participated enthusiastically in a hilarious matching game of thrones aptly called Whose Loo Is It Anyways for your colleague's birthday
  • Leading the redesign of our home page and other key areas of our digital experience
  • Owning the product backlog for your pod area and evolved it based on the latest changes in the business and customer experience
  • Put your blue sky thinking cap on and collaborated with engineering to prototype a new in-home device that helps us learn from our customers and help them seamlessly reorder
  • Helped keep the team aligned, all the communication flowing, and all the collaboration happening by attending regular virtual sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives and other ceremonies
  • Recorded yourself shaking and waving your way through Zoom with your Digital Product teammates that resulted in a punny and heart-warming IRL video recap that may or may not have been sung by Celine Dion
