Job Purpose
What does a great Product Manager do?

Fiserv's legal organization is leading the effort to radically enhance the end-to-end client contracting process for all Fiserv business units. ContractPoint, a Conga/Apttus Contract Lifecycle Management service, is being deployed across the enterprise in order to realize the goal of accelerating and improving the contracting process. As the Product Manager, you will provide the necessary level of functional support to the thousands of users of various legal services including ContractPoint, DocuSign, Hyland OnBase, and others.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working within Fiserv's Corporate Legal department to provide functional, analytical and operational support for various services offered and used by those in the department. Services include the Conga/Apttus Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system operating within the Salesforce.com platform, DocuSign, contract repositories, and other system services. You will play a vital role in ensuring the CLM system meets the day-to-day contracting needs of thousands of sales, marketing, account management and legal professionals across the Fiserv organization.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the functional components of the system services. This includes gathering requirements and enhancement requests from those using the services, analyze the requests in light of the capabilities of the system services, and provide detailed change requests to configuration and technical specialists.
  • Collaboration with associates representing various Fiserv business units to understand the process flow for current contracting steps and define and implement changes to the process to introduce more efficient end-to-end contracting activities.
  • Administering the Conga/Apttus CLM system and other systems to perform deployment readiness tasks to ensure enhancements and modifications deliver the functionality that meets stated business requirements.
  • Assisting with training and deployment of the system services across Fiserv business units.
  • Defining, creating and distributing reports to provide management and stakeholders with insight into the contracting and process used by legal associates.
  • Working with associates from other Fiserv business units to define touchpoints and interfaces to/from the CLM and other services.
  • Responding to inquiries from users who report issues or are seeking guidance, participate in testing and quality assurance activities with the user community and engage with other support staff when additional assistance is required.
  • You are the type of person who proactively searches for ways to improve the system services and communicates best practices to users and management.
  • You will also be asked to perform other support duties and assist with other projects assigned to the legal operations team on an as-needed basis.


Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
  • A proven track record of product management experience.
  • Relevant experience working with Quote-to-Cash or CLM services, preferably with Conga/Apttus and Salesforce.com.
  • You should possess a proven track record in administering and supporting contract management and other legal systems, preferably with the Conga/Apttus service, DocuSign, and others.
  • You should have experience with business transformation activities and process mapping.
  • You should have experience in collaboratively working with users and business and technology leaders to define functional requirements so that appropriate decisions and recommendations can be made to identify and implement modifications to legal system services to meet stated business goals.
  • The ability to collaborate with contracting professionals to understand myriad processes and approval workflows is essential.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Visio.


Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Associates degree or undergraduate certificates in business management, computer science, information management or equivalent. Bachelor's degree is preferable.
  • Experience with business process charts, flowcharts, decision tables, use cases, test scenarios, test cases, test logs and issue logs.
