Job Description

We are looking for a business-centric Product Manager (PM) to define and own the vision, strategy, and requirements for shipping impactful, customer-facing products and features. The PM will own all aspects of the product including research, definition, prioritization, and development, partnering with product marketing on positioning, go-to-market content and internal and external product enablement. The PM will interface with all facets of the business to conduct research, feedback sessions and establish prioritization buy-in for roadmap initiatives that will provide significant value to our customers and our business. This is not considered a “technical” product management role.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role 

• Accountable for all aspects of one or multiple Jornaya products, including market research, competitive analysis, user profiles, roadmap prioritization, functioning as the product owner with development teams, partnering with product marketing & operations for product training, enablement, go-to-market & release strategy. 

• Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to gather ideas/feedback and inform the priorities and approach to initiatives considered for roadmap development 

• Document & communicate market-facing feedback, interviews, and discovery sessions to inform roadmap prioritization 

• Establish alignment with Internal stakeholders on the vision, approach, value propositions, minimum viable product, expected value, expected cost, and expected timing for shipping the roadmap 

• Document & communicate detailed requirements for the data points, integrations, user experience and analytics/insights and reporting needed to provide maximum value to customers. 

• Partner with engineering & data science teams to share the “what” and the “why” behind roadmap priorities, enabling engineering & data science to determine “how” we will deliver an MVP. Requirements are translated into clearly written user stories with acceptance criteria 

• Own and maintain prioritization of the product backlog for assigned products. 

• Regularly provide transparent status & delivery estimates to the organization. 

• Partner with operations, marketing, sales & customer success to establish go-to-market plans, including enablement, content, onboarding and support processes. 

Qualifications

• 2+ years of market-facing product management experience 

• Demonstrable ability to define and ship products, especially data products, while meeting or exceeding established timelines 

• Experience working with software engineers, data engineers, and data science in an agile environment 

• Ability to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels with 

• Experience working in a start-up/early-stage environment 

• Enjoys wearing multiple hats and stepping outside of the typical job function to help customers and/or Jornaya colleagues when necessary. 

• Ability to fully understand Jonaya business domain 

• Attention to detail - does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project 

• Speaks and writes clearly and concisely for different audiences 

• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, ask for guidance where needed and keep stakeholders informed of progress 

We’re headquartered in Conshohocken, PA (just outside of Philadelphia), but our employees can work from anywhere in the US!
