The Product Manager is a strategic position responsible for the success of SailPoint products in the marketplace. The position requires strong product management skills that balance market needs with SailPoint strategy and heavily relies upon management and communication skills. Additionally, a technical understanding of enterprise software, customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is critical. This role will help set the vision, requirements, and long-term plan for SailPoint's growing Platform. The Product Manager must be comfortable working closely with executives to communicate the vision and roadmap, with engineering, design and services to optimize roadmap execution and with marketing and sales to achieve customer growth. Consistent communication with prospects, customers, partners and leaders of other products in the portfolio is required to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Drive product innovation through customer feedback, deployment success, competitive positioning and market thought leadership
- Work closely with engineering and design to identify and triage problems to solve and build solutions in ways that drive iterative learning and continuous value delivery for customers.
- Maintain product roadmap and coordinate deliverables with key stakeholders.
- Contribute towards the Data platform business strategy to build a robust data product roadmap for development and drive adoption of key data platform products.
- Develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog in a lean / agile environment.
- Help define success metrics and measure the impact and results for proposed and delivered solutions
- Communicate and evangelize data initiatives to other product, engineering, business stakeholders by defining, tracking, and reporting on metrics.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a product management role with focus working on data enabled products or data platform initiatives.
- Preference would be a background in Identity and Access Management. Either implementation of Identity and Access Management solutions and/or Product Management for Identity and Access Management products.
- Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise software products
- Experience in analytics and ability to visualize data and metrics through dashboards or any reporting tools.
- Experience in breaking down projects into manageable goals and align data initiatives with the overall business strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
