Product Manager
The Opportunity
MassMutual Investment Solutions is a diversified multi-manager investment platform focused on the retirement and wealth management channels. We leverage an open architecture framework to develop innovative solutions to solve the most pressing investment needs faced by our clients. We are seeking a Product Manger to support our investment complex.
The Team
MassMutual Investments manages $45 billion across 100+ portfolios, spanning equities, fixed income, and multi-asset class solutions. We have developed partnerships with some of the world's leading asset managers who subadvise our investment strategies. We are rapidly expanding our solutions in the wealth and investment-only retirement channels, and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to help drive our dynamic and collaborative effort.
The Impact:
As a Product Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Product Management and Senior Product Managers to support all product management functions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Vendor management and oversight including invoice management and approval/removal of users including collaboration with CFO office
- Management of fund complex mailbox and phone inquiries
- Support of Product Management Team in onboarding new products, product changes as well as general maintenance of existing products including regulatory documents, compliance support and financial statement reporting
- Provide data support for fund data, holdings, surveys and Board reporting
- Subadviser Management support including data, management, planning and reporting
- Product liaison with key stakeholders across Product, Investments, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Fund Administration and Investment Operations
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years financial services experience
- 1+ investment experience
- 1+ year of partnering across departments
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficiency with MorningStar Direct
- Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
The Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years investment product experience
- Strong project management skills, analytical skills, technical skills, and a problem solving/solutions-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated experience with data gathering and presentation, research and ability to think strategically and work independently
- Comfort with a fast-paced, highly collaborative and changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Investment interest and curiousity
- Stays current on industry, market, product, and regulatory trends
