Product Manager
Snapsheet is looking for a Product Manager to join our team!
As a Product Manager, you’ll own the roadmap for one of our four industry-leading products that are currently servicing thousands of customers each week. Daily, the Product Manager meets with stakeholders including Executives, Engineering, Design, Customer Service, and more to gather information, communicate updates and understand each key-players vision. As a Product Manager, you leverage vast amounts of disparate data-sets, user research, customer interviewing, and rapid testing of ideas to build new and improve existing features within our products. With this research and knowledge at hand, this Product Manager will develop and launch product enhancements while measuring success and elevating the product. The Product Manager will work closely with our Engineering team to drive efficiencies and enhance the user experience. Since you have a robust Agile product management background you seamlessly navigate the software development life-cycle and equip all parties with the information they need to hit deadlines. Throughout the process, as a Product Manager, you are vigilant about scope creep and priorities to ensure success.
You have the above, but you are also a builder and a do-er. You have a passion for software and put your heart into your work. You love getting things done and you have a solid attention to detail along the way. You are a curious problem solver who always drives back to purpose and vision.
Key Responsibilities for our Product Manager:
- Determine what our customers need. Leverage internal and external sources, conduct customer interviews, surveys, analyze behavior and develop solutions.
- Categorize business problems and conduct competitive research to provide those inputs to design in order to produce solutions
- Craft and maintain the product backlog. Work with design and engineering teams to define, groom, and execute epics & features that drive the most value to our customers.
- Communicate & coordinate. Work with designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to capture problems in user stories and ensure features, epics, and releases are well communicated, understood, and adopted by our customers.
- Work with internal stakeholders to negotiate acceptance criteria and find the right balance of scope for now vs. later
- Provide strong evidence and rationale for decision making
- Seamless integration with fellow product managers to ensure that all teams are running in the same manner
- Rigorously leverage data and analytics to drive decisions, features, and design
- Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, Design, Strategy, and Implementation to drive initiatives.
What you bring as a Product Manager:
- 3+ years of experience and success in B2B/SaaS/Web in a product management or product owner/analyst role
- The mentality to do what's best for the product and our customers
- Experience leading substantial aspects of product management. That means identifying opportunities, defining a product roadmap, creating business cases, driving execution activities, and measuring results.
- A data-driven approach to scope and priority management
- Exceptional communication & organization skills
- Working knowledge of Jira, PivotalTracker, Trello or equal project-management software
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Snapsheet we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
