Role description:

This is a unique opportunity to join our fast-growing team in the Global Product Management organization and work with a group of data scientists, engineers, UX designers, and other product managers to drive significant business impact.

Your role focuses on leveraging Gartner's proprietary data to innovatively bring better products to our clients across all industries. You will leverage design thinking and lean product principles to define, design, and implement new products that enables Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Data & Analytics Officers (CDAOs) and other senior IT leaders and their teams to make data-based decisions to achieve their mission critical priorities.

Key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will be mainly aligned to product strategy and product development.

Product Strategy:

  • Develop a product roadmap, in conjunction with Data Science, Engineering, Advisory, and Commercial stakeholders
  • Lead brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving sessions with stakeholders across Gartner to define and implement product concepts, features, and functionality


  • Provide insightful analytics necessary to measure and track against KPIs
  • Exemplify and drive innovation that provides new value through addictive digital products


Product Development:

  • Serve as product owner and lead a scrum team of data scientists, engineers and designers. Ensure continued impact and tracking progress of metrics post-launch.


  • Lead brainstorming sessions and prototype reviews with User Experience and Data Science teams to lead them towards the best solutions
  • Prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team's long-term goals and strategy
  • Design, build, launch and assess MVPs. Analyze MVP and experiment data and synthesize into findings and actionable insights
  • Measure and improve product planning and development processes.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive business experience including 3+ years of combined experience in product development and management roles
  • Experience working at digital company or SaaS software environment is preferred
  • Experience or strong understanding of data science, statistics, and engineering fundamentals


  • Good mind for UI design and best practices
  • Proven track record for new product innovation, including design thinking frameworks, product ideation, and agile development; data products experience preferred
  • Experience and strong comfort level speaking directly with clients, including senior-level executives
  • Ability to test concepts through fact-finding and data-driven decision making
  • Ability to lead/influence cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment


  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, engineering, or a related field
