We are looking for a Product Manager to join our fast growing TDP (Telemetry Data Platform) organization, working with the Production and Tools Engineering teams within our Developer Platform group. These teams are responsible for the tooling used by engineers at New Relic to build and deploy services within our highly scalable cellular architecture.
What You'll Do
  • You'll understand the build, deployment, and operational challenges faced by engineers and engineering teams across New Relic.
  • Collaborate with engineers, engineering leaders, program managers, and product leaders from teams across New Relic, to deliver solutions to their build and deploy challenges and anticipate their future needs.
  • Provide business context and clear success criteria to your teams, to ensure their solutions delight customers.
  • Define and maintain the vision and roadmaps for your teams, ensuring they remain in line with product specific, team specific, and broader New Relic initiatives.
  • Work with internal partners in engineering, compliance, legal, and security to integrate engineering and security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships with your teams and other leaders at New Relic.
Your Qualifications

Must-have:
  • Demonstrated ability in product management, technical product management, or another leadership role in technology such as engineering, architecture, or program management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience working through ambiguity to detailed solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, partnership and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have:
  • A background in or in-depth understanding of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices.
  • A background in monitoring or observability.
  • Experience working in or working with a DevOps or operations team
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic decision-making, balancing the needs of the business, security, legal and other enterprise partners.
