Position: Product Manager, Supply Selection Strategy (SSS)

You will work closely with our Brokerage, Logistics Operations team and Planning Org to define and solve complex problems associated with how we move vehicles throughout our network on a day to day basis. The ideal candidate has strong empathy for their customers, is obsessed with data and is excited about solving recurring problems within the Transportation space through sustainable solutions.

Team: Logistics, Product

We support a diverse supply of transportation partners to facilitate our first, middle and last mile moves. As these partners are onboarded and execute work within our network, we will need to stand up new products, and update existing products and processes to support our partners (Carriers and Drivers). Separately, as we procure and scale new sources of capacity, we will need to solve how and why we will allocate demand across our partners. Finally, we will need to identify and establish the necessary key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of this strategy. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and drive the roadmap for our strategy to allocate demand across multiple sources of supply in partnership with our Brokerage, Logistics Operations and Planning team, participating end to end in the product life cycle, from market research and strategy to prioritization to delivery.
• Translate data into consumable, actionable narratives; regularly update the company, including senior leadership, with results and strategic recommendations.
• Become an expert in broader external capacity for automotive haulers. Have an informed point of view on market trends for carriers and drivers along with specific needs partner to partner.
• Utilize data living in SQL tables and APIs to create visualizations in Tableau (or other platforms).
• Take ownership of the models and products that enable success for our teams, enabling and empowering the constantly evolving customer experience that makes us leaders in our field.
• Lead by example for the rest of the team in the above areas.

REQUIRED SKILLS 

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Computer Science.
• 2+ years experience in product management.
• Strong project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functional on complex product areas, managing dependencies.
• Openness to feedback from all people and parts of the company.
• A positive outlook, humility, and a healthy sense of humor. Read this again if necessary!
