The Position

Product Manager, Strategy & Partnerships

 

What We Need

A highly motivated and customer-centric product strategist who is passionate about improving healthcare services through technology and enjoys working in a dynamic and rewarding environment to accelerate the revenue cycle and strengthen the economics of independent practices. Kareo is looking for a Product Manager focused on Strategy & Partnerships to drive an exciting business initiative with a mission to sustain and transform Kareo’s flagship billing product. If you like solving tough problems, taking initiative when you see an opportunity, and are tenacious, we would like to hear from you! As this Product Strategy Manager, you will help to assess Kareo’s Billing product performance, identify new growth opportunities and help develop the long-term Revenue Cycle strategic plan. You are accountable for the growth and effectiveness of the product line and lead the build-buy-partner strategy. This position will work with the Product Management team to conduct research and provide input to help progress our product and technology strategy.



Your Area of Focus

  • Collaborate across teams to gather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, research, and insights to support and guide strategic initiatives
  • Partner with with Product Managers to identify and explore opportunities where integrating with partners advances our product strategy
  • Perform build/partner/buy analysis for opportunities focused on our revenue cycle management offering
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and strategic developments across Revenue Cycle Managements space; share relevant analyst research and implications with senior management to shape strategy and offerings
  • Lead and coordinate partner integration including pilot and launch activities and producing marketing and sales content articulating value propositions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and SMEs to understand the healthcare landscape including policies, best practices, and advances
  • Develop supporting business cases for major investments related to new products or acquisitions.

 

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with 3-5 years of software industry experience 
  • Ability to align and motive teams to achieve shared goals
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, with a bias towards action, ensuring alignment and buy-in along the way
  • Ability to breakdown complex problems to create inputs to drive the strategic solutions
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability able to get your point across concisely and effectively
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare market; passion for driving positive impact
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of an extended cross-functional team
  • Capability to simultaneously handle multiple projects
  • The ability to influence without authority
