About the Role:

Product Managers at RevUnit help lead product teams to solve complex problems on behalf of the client. The Product Manager serves the client and product team by helping to define the purpose, business outcomes, and objectives to maximize the value of the work.

We are looking for someone with the experience to help solve complex challenges and with influential leadership skills who can inspire and motivate those around them. This person will represent RevUnit in client interactions, and will be the go-to person for ensuring things are operating smoothly and effectively within your teams.

We need someone who can roll up their sleeves and work alongside the team, while also being an excellent communicator who can map to executives and other senior leadership stakeholders within our clients' organizations.

This is a highly collaborative role, working with clients, designers, developers, strategists and sales. As a collaborative leader, the Product Manager will encourage fresh ideas, perspectives and tooling choices in the pursuit of building the highest-performing cross-functional teams possible.

Key Responsibilities:

What you'll be doing (mostly).

  • Build trust and thought leadership with RevUnit clients
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and product stakeholders, ensuring they are aligned on key decisions, and that the implications of these decisions are understood.
  • Help lead product operation activities in order to develop a robust definition of the product.
  • Ensure the products deliver value through the objectives and business outcomes
  • Continually adapt and negotiate with the product team and stakeholders
  • Collaborate on product-related decisions during agile development, including features, epics, and themes.
  • Ensure effectiveness of sprint ceremonies including standups, backlog refinement, story pointing, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in ensuring timely implementation of applications. Monitor and report on current deployments, including recommendations for roadmap updates and new products.
  • Contribute to the Product Manager Community of Practice by championing new tools and processes which increase RevUnit's efficiency.

Core Activities:
A sampling of what you might be doing on any given day.

  • Facilitate daily standup to identify barriers amongst the team
  • Identify the right person to help mitigate this barrier and engage them
  • Advocate for a solution to the barrier and required actions
  • Conduct a story pointing session with the team to understand the level of effort for an upcoming sprint
  • Work with a subject matter expert to refine a particular epic in the backlog for a future feature
  • Discuss a potential theme with the client to determine the business outcome and evaluate the team's capabilities to implement it.
  • Review user feedback to uncover and document pain points with the most recent release.
  • Review and modify projections to the budget weekly



Requirements

Ideally you'll have all of these, but we encourage you to apply even if you don't!

  • Experience in digital strategy and development
  • 2+ years of product management experience in a technology-focused market, ideally in software and mobile
  • Experience in using agile methodologies, best practices, and critical tools. Experience leading, teaching and mentoring in agile a plus
  • Demonstrated capabilities in being tech, business, and UX savvy
  • Experience collaborating & contributing to cross-functional teams while working on multi-faceted projects for extended periods of time
  • Experience in client service settings
