Job Description

The ISO Underwriting unit of Verisk Insurance Solutions is hiring a Product Manager, ProMetrix Analytics. The candidate must have an innovator mentality, strong analytical skills and the ability to translate an idea into a compelling reality that anticipates and fulfils customer needs. The candidate will work in close partnership with the Commercial Lines Property Analytics Product Manager to give our property underwriting products the flexibility and accessibility that our customers need.

 Responsibilities:

· Own and execute upon an ambitious product vision in support of our customers analytics needs.

· Leverage analytics capabilities, domain expertise and technical expertise across teams to execute throughout the innovation and product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, executing the product vision, and leading development and marketing efforts to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

· Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving and negotiating skills and business creativity is a must

· Lead the product portion of sales opportunities to ensure effective positioning of the solution’s value proposition and customer comfort with the product capabilities to support the ambitious growth goals of the product line

· Liaise between IT, data scientist, product colleagues, marketing, and sales to ensure streamlined messaging driven by customer needs and how existing and emerging Verisk capabilities can solve these needs

· Create clear and logical product designs and sustain good data quality for all products

Qualifications

· 5 to 8 years commercial property insurance product, underwriting, and/or channel management experience.

· Prior product development/management experience.

· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with internal staff and external stakeholders

· Comfortable speaking in front of a room full of industry executives but can also dive into the details of a challenging quantitative problem to solve customer needs

· Experience with SQL, programing languages, agile development and cloud technologies is a plus

· 10% - 15% travel
