About the role

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, Product Manager to own the Performance Marketing product area, leading a delivery team focused on acceleration of consumer demand growth. A successful candidate has an owner’s mindset and is laser-focused on building tools and solutions that empower the marketing organization to deliver efficient growth at scale.

As a Product Manager at Angi, you will be a key member of the product team who is responsible for developing and shipping products that deliver on Angi’s vision and business objectives, and creating value for our users. You will be responsible for defining and owning the roadmap for the SEM/Affiliate product area at Angi.

What you’ll do:

  • Optimize SEM spend/costs, campaign management, and improve underlying infrastructure to enable scalable growth for SEM.
  • Deliver product, technology and tools that maximize efficacy of marketing channels and enable maximum growth and scale.
  • Partner with marketing and business leadership to help establish the SEM/Affiliate product practice within the MarTech group at Angi.
  • Work cross-functionally with SEM, Affiliate, and Brand marketing leaders to establish a product strategy and resource appropriately across channels to maximize impact.
  • Help lead a delivery team focused on solving marketing (technical and user) problem sets and opportunities.
  • Deeply understand our users (internal and external), their problems, where they find value, and consistently strive to improve our tools and technology to exceed the needs of our marketing organization.
  • Help evangelize the MarTech vision and motivate delivery team members critical to success to rally around the roadmap.
  • Launch new products and features with a detailed and thoughtful testing approach.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize the most important things.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, analytics, data science, and other business teams to make swift and smart decisions, and ensure successful product rollout and delivery.
  • Thrive within ambiguity and find new, creative ways to solve problems every day, with data as your guide.

Who you are:

  • 1-2 years of product experience in a fast-paced, consumer-centric or SaaS environment.
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing, ideally with SEM campaign management, internal tooling, and/or 3rd party integrations.
  • A proven track record of planning and shipping successful technical products.
  • An understanding of the implications of the product decisions you make on various channels, including ROAS.
  • Adeptness with data analysis, web analytics, and have experience with Looker, Tableau, Adobe, and/or SQL.
  • Familiarity and comfort working with large data sets, partnering with Data Science team to analyze and monitor product health, and to make hard prioritization decisions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the org and can tailor your message to your audience.
  • A passion for marketplaces, the sharing economy, and/or the on-demand services space.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams seamlessly, juggling the priorities of multiple interests.
  • Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.
  • Ability to integrate studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to drive business growth.
  • Deeply curious: you operate with a sense of urgency and always look for new ways to understand our customers and create value on their behalf
  • Data-fluent: you use data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and are capable of inventing and using new metrics in order to learn and make decisions
  • Biased for action: you make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning. We shift fast to learn fast. “Perfect” is the enemy of the good.
  • A bar raiser: you inspire others to bring their ‘A’ game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You don’t accept “because that is the way we’ve always done it.”
  • An owner: you can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P+L's. You never say “that is not my job.” You are willing to get your hands dirty and do whatever it takes to ensure success.

Denver, CO, New York, NY, or Indianapolis, IN are preferred locations for this position, but we are also open to remote.

Compensation & Benefits:
