Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience in product management
• Experience in security and/or trust and safety
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience building scalable platforms in a technology or security company
• Experience in machine learning and AI systems, and their applications
• Experience in and excitement for driving impact and creatively solving complex workflow management systems
• Knowledge of safety, security, and privacy
• Knowledge of app development and the Android ecosystem

As a Product Manager, you will help keep malware and mobile unwanted software out of the Play store and off devices.

• Partner with Play, Android Platform, and other teams in App Safety Engineering to ensure both developers and consumers understand what private information is being used by Apps and Software Development Kits.
• Build strategies for detecting apps that abuse Personally Identifiable Information, along side Engineering.
• Work with the Business Development, Engineering, Policy, and Incident Response teams who build and deliver the products and experiences that get designed.
• Find strategies to scale the team's impact, making the most efficient use of our resources.
• Drive consensus and plans across multiple teams.
