Product Managers at VillageMD take complete ownership of the success of our healthcare software products, balancing product priorities and corporate strategy to make competitive software that pushes technical innovation. Product Managers will drive the success of these products in terms of feature adoption, sales, customer happiness, and financial viability, working across product, engineering, analytics, and market teams to achieve product goals. 

The marketing technology product manager will understand the patient experience and deploy technology that fulfills the brand promise.  They will define and implement the capabilities that should be accomplished in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and seek alternatives as necessary to meet KPIs.  This person will be providing thought leadership on enhancing the patient experience via marketing technology, leading cross-discipline initiatives to improve healthcare delivery, and demonstrating the highest of ethical and moral values to keep our patients first. 

Could this be you? 

  • Build the marketing tech function from the ground up, be a pioneer in health tech marketing 
  • Lead requirements gathering and planning sessions with our implementation and marketing teams to collaboratively develop the product roadmap and prioritize new features 
  • Build the operational cadence to efficiently capitalize on marketing initiatives 
  • Dynamically prioritize features and bug fixes to deliver against our marketing metrics and objectives 
  • Build detailed consumer (patient) journeys for features spanning multiple communication mediums and technology platforms 
  • Engage with leaders and end-users (patients) to research and gather feedback  

How you can make a difference 

  • Have complete ownership of the technology powering our marketing products and KPIs 
  • Design consumer (patients) features and work collaboratively with implementation and engineers on execution 
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to gain insight into how we might increase patient engagement and conversion with our digital patient communications. 
  • Maximize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other technology platforms where appropriate 
  • Build and communicate a roadmap for marketing technology and how it fits into the overall company strategy 
  • Define success metrics and reporting needs to monitor performance to drive incremental improvements. 
  • Prioritize data integrations to maximize outcomes 
  • Establish an advisory relationship and thought partnership with the entire organization 

Skills for success 

  • A real passion for making an impact in healthcare, specifically via health tech marketing  
  • Deep expertise in marketing, marketing technology, and digital communications 
  • Strong ability to communicate across the organization, both written and verbal 
  • Desire to bring clarity leveraging organizational ability and detail orientation 
  • Vision to balance speed and maintainability in solution design 
  • Ability to work with internal and external resources to achieve outcomes 
  • Strong sales presence, competently demoing the product and tailoring the demo to the target audience 
  • A low ego and humility; an ability to gain trust by doing what you say you will do 

Experience to drive change 

  • 5+ years Salesforce marketing cloud background 
  • 3+ years Product ownership, product management, consulting, or other related work  
  • Experience to drive decision making on the focused product within team and amongst a wide set of constituents 
  • 3+ years working in a B-C orientated roles 
  • Ability to drive meaningful insights with incomplete data 
  • Ability to acknowledge, forecast and mitigate risk ahead of time across multiple domains 
  • BS/MS in related fields

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
