Product Manager - Lonely Planet

Location: Remote, Charlotte, NC or New York, NY

Lonely Planet is seeking a Product Manager to lead a bold rethinking of what’s possible in the travel space.

What you’ll do

• Own a major workstream within the Lonely Planet digital ecosystem from ideation to delivery
• Execute on product strategy by spearheading key initiatives and driving cross-functional alignment
• Develop a deep understanding of our users in order to create and ship delightful features that address their needs
• Define detailed requirements and user stories; work with design and engineering to determine feasibility and tradeoffs 
• Own progress against a product roadmap, holding teams accountable to milestones and timelines
• Own key metrics and identify ways to achieve product goals that ladder up to company-wide goals. 
• Contribute to a culture of continuous development and rapid test-and-learn

What we’re looking for

• 3-5 years of product management experience and a portfolio of work that backs it up
• Experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to keep business and strategic goals top of mind while prioritizing daily work needs. (Think strategically and execute methodically).
• Experience working with high performing teams against tight deadlines.
• You are highly analytical with an ability to influence and drive decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong communication skills
• You have experience driving multifaceted projects forward with cross-functional teams
