About the team:
The Embedded Finance team at FIS works on the newest, most exciting and innovative aspects of banking and finance. This is the next frontier of financial technology where we bring the technical flexibility of our APIs to life serving the business needs, experiences, and workflows of our customers and their clients.
What you will be doing:
You will plan and manage the full product life cycle from concept to ensuring delivery of FIS new products, enhancements, and features to market. You will define the product roadmap and life cycle to meet market requirements in support of FIS strategy by considering market need, revenue & cost considerations (product profitability), the compete value chain, pricing strategies, client satisfaction and client retention and new market penetration. The primary location this position will be based out of is Orlando, FL., and any other US based location. Duties include, but not limited to the following:

  • Manages product plan by ensuring changes in market and business priorities including integration needs and technology advancements are reflected. Presents status updates at quarterly and annual stakeholder meetings.
  • Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to provide content for customer messaging, marketing & sales collateral and informs Go to Market strategy.
  • Completes business scope documents and defines Epics, participates in design experience modeling, and documents user personas for individual products.
  • Responsible for product roadmaps and provides business reasons for any changes/revisions made to roadmaps, determines success criteria and recommends "go / no go" or other key decisions.


What you bring:
Key attributes the ideal candidate will possess:

  • 8-14 years of experience working with Banking / Financial software
  • The ability to work through ambiguity and lead and execute with minimal direction
  • A keen sense of what it takes to differentiate your product and align to customer and market needs with tangible examples of ideation, design thinking experience and providing thought leadership to customers and the industry
  • Working practical knowledge of Agile practices
  • Experience with "as-a -service" or embedded finance software products


Added bonus if you have:

  • Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic)
  • Agile product management certification and/or training (e.g., SAFe)
