Product Manager, Fulfillment Orchestration
Gopuff is seeking energetic growth hackers and future product masters to join the Product Management team, and join the world-class organization that is building the technology backbone of a generational company. You will be accountable for outcomes in a focused segment of our fulfillment operation, enabling Gopuff to reach as many customers as possible and offering the widest range of products. You will work directly with operators and technologists to create outsized leverage against our competitors, utilizing the breadth of our growing fulfillment network to ensure all customers find what they are looking for, and have reliable and accurate delivery expectations that motivate them to place the order.
The Problem: We can only promise what we are able to deliver. In order to ensure that we are motivating the customer to purchase by making reliable promises, our shopping platform needs to know both which warehouses can fulfill that order, and what delivery expectations need to be set. You will be working with the Shopping, Inventory, and Delivery teams to dynamically determine the most accurate fulfillment options we can offer to the customer at any given time.
The Expectations: Senior Product Managers at goPuff serve as domain leaders defining the most valuable problems to solve and setting strategy across material surface areas. They are the agile product owner for one or more scrum teams. In addition to leading cross-functional teams to meet roadmap objectives, Senior PM's are expected to take on high-visibility projects that influence priority objectives throughout the company. You will become a domain expert and proactively drive innovation in areas of ownership. Success of this role is measured through impact to the business; in this role, you will directly influence goPuff's growth, unit economics, customer satisfaction, and frequency drivers.
The ideal candidate for this role will live and breathe hustle, but also has the humility to listen, learn, and adapt. We're seeking a creative, entrepreneurial dynamo who's as comfortable on a whiteboard as they are digging into a P&L. We will strongly prefer candidates with experience building products in the context of ecommerce logistics, who are comfortable working with and alongside operators in the field, and can earn the trust of their engineering, design, and analytics cross functional counterparts. And, most of all, our perfect candidate will thrive in an environment where the pace is frenetic, the energy is palpable, and we're never, ever done.
