We’re currently seeking a Product Manager, with experience in the Ethereum/DeFi ecosystem. This person will be responsible for the development of the next generation of DeFi platforms, overall vision for the product roadmap, establishing and driving the team to meet key milestones/KPIs, and ensuring customer integrations are of the highest quality. 


This is a great opportunity for an ambitious manager, or senior manager, with the relevant skill-set looking for the next step in their career at a fast growing, venture backed, fintech startup working at the forefront of cryptography and blockchain technology. You will work directly with senior leadership to guide the future direction of product development for the company.


The ideal candidate should have a good understanding on how the major DeFi platforms (Uniswap, Compound, AAVE, MakerDAO, etc..) operate, while keeping up-to-date with the fast evolution pace of new products. The candidate should have a good product intuition in the financial services space and a structured approach to market validation and stress testing product hypothesis in early stages of product development. In later stages the candidate should be able to develop product documentation, help guide sales collateral, and work closely with engineering to implement.


This is a customer interfacing position, therefore this person needs to be a highly collaborative and creative problem solver, who can effectively communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.

What you'll do

  • OWN the entire product line from end-to-end Work closely with the both internal/external partners to identify and evaluate new product opportunities
  • Develop and implement a framework for predicting product success in market
  • Develop and implement best practices across the team for generating user stories and development requirements based on use cases and business requirements
  • Synthesize inputs from multiple sources and translate those into clearly articulated requirements for the software engineers to build
  • Articulate user stories, requirements, define business value, and identify success metrics for our existing/new products and features
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including the product implementation schedule
  • Act as a bridge between the Engineering, Sales, Governance and Legal teams to ensure all customer integration related activities are accomplished, including: due diligence, audits & monitoring, technical resolution of key issues, etc. 
  • Be a culture carrier

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 4+ years experience in Product or Technical Product Management delivering complex technical products
  • Experience in the Ethereum/DeFi space
  • 1+ year working in the Financial Services Industry, ideally within the Product Management team
  • Highly technical
  • Must be able to effectively work with Engineers to evaluate different approaches to implementing product features, while weighing costs, benefits and risksWorking knowledge of core programming languages such as Javascript, Java, or Python is a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering quality products, on time, while providing a best-in-class customer experience
  • Comfortable managing, while owning key parts of the product
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement innovative features and solutions
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Ability to achieve results, in a fast paced environment, with competing priorities
  • Meticulous organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
