Product Manager, Data

The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of designers, scientists, and product managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our big data products. You will drive the strategy and execution for our data ETL platform to empower a diverse range of internal customers and use cases, from AB testing and experimentation, machine learning, as well as data science and analytics.
What you'll do:
Drive the strategy for Snap’s data ETL platforms, data quality, and data documentation
Work with Sr. Engineering leaders to drive the strategy for all of Snap's Data Infrastructure: From massively scaled data collection infrastructure, lightweight mobile and web SDKs, data processing workloads, and secure & compliance data lakes.
Build the product vision for Snap to be the leader of large scale streaming infrastructure. Powering all realtime ML ranking use cases across the company.
Work with all consumers of data at Snap, from engineering, data science, and PMs, to deeply understand their data needs and the business impact of addressing these needs
Establish mechanisms for scaling data quality efforts, in partnership with engineering, data science, and QA
Build alignment across the company on the team’s vision with leadership and executives
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Understanding of how to prioritize and measure success of an internal platform with a diverse range of internal customers and stakeholders
A team player who can collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, data science and other cross-functional teammates
Think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years of experience in product management or similar product development positions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on big data products at a technology company
