THE POSITION:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive building out critical technologies that enable teams to continue producing best-in-class products. As a member of the Content Experience team, you will help shape the centralization of various systems into FanDuel’s next-generation unified platform. This is a unique opportunity that requires a wide-ranging skill set as we seek to enhance key components of our tech stack including content publishing and distribution, live sports data, and video and advertising technology.

In partnership with Content, Product, Sports Modeling, Marketing, and Engineering, you’ll be responsible for the planning, prioritization, and execution of successful products. This includes understanding and prioritizing product, customer, and stakeholder needs, defining product goals, and working closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to bring solutions to market. To succeed, you will be a thought leader in the content platforms domain, with a natural leadership ability that brings people along with them and gains the trust of others using data and their previous experience.

THE GAME PLAN:

  • Identify, shape, and ensure execution of new products and product initiatives.
  • Assess product opportunities and contribute meaningfully to vision, strategy, and prioritization of new initiatives and products.
  • Communicate the product priorities across the wider teams and senior stakeholders ensuring the required buy-in across the group
  • Lead and drive OKR-driven lean discovery and deliver best practice alongside technology, commercial and UX counterparts
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, content, and operational functions to ensure successful product deliveries and launches.
  • Monitor product performance and ensure that the product roadmap delivers measurable and meaningful business and customer impacts with an ability to deliver both strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Instill a growth mindset that goes beyond the limits of our competitors and the industry, finding new and innovative ways to entertain the customer
  • Instill a culture of domain expertise within the team on the product, market, and competitors
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute post-launch optimizations and improvements.
  • Establish, track and report objectively on product performance metrics

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital Product Management or similar role required.
  • A strong understanding of the platforms and tools needed to deliver different content types to multiple products including content publishing (CMS), video playback, advertising technology, data services, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality.
  • Demonstrated success cross-functionally influencing teams without formal authority.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables.
  • Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
