About the Role
In this role on the core consumer experience team, you will focus on Activity Experiences, partnering with teams across the company to ensure our users can seamlessly access and manage their past, current, and upcoming trips and orders, as well as unlocking new capabilities. The Activity Experience is crucial in making sure daily interactions using Uber's app feel seamless and magical. As we continue to increase the number of services we offer (from Rides to Food & Grocery delivery, Car Rentals, Sending Packages, and more) and expand the ways our consumers can book & enjoy them (on-demand or booked in advance), the Activity Experience will be critical to both our consumers' satisfaction and business success. Furthermore, you will help define the experience for the purchase and management of multiple parallel trips, orders, and reservations as users around the globe rely on Uber for more and more of their daily needs.
You will work with partners in design, research, and data science teams - and across product teams within the company - in order to understand customer needs. You will then design holistic solutions to address them. As a result, your work will touch millions of riders a day, including the experiences of your friends and family.
What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end Activity experience, from its entry points all the way to core UI and value-generating upsells and cross-sells, creating and leading execution on an exciting roadmap to materially shape the way tens of millions of people interact with the Uber app
  • Partner with design, research, data science, engineering, and other PM stakeholders to understand user needs and pain points, and then design holistic solutions to address them
  • Work with product teams around the company to understand their use cases and integrate them appropriately in the Rider app

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them -- and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished
  • A passion for user experience: you can both guide design priorities for the team, and have an excellent sense of experience principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • You can get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You have experience running rigorous multivariate testing and experimentation
  • Platform experience: you can take a laundry list of use cases and connect the dots to develop holistic, scalable solutions with internal partners
