The Position

Senior Product Manager for Billing

 

What We Need

The Senior Product Manager for Billing is a RCM industry thought leader, enabling Kareo to deliver solutions that simplify the practice management revenue lifecycle. As the Sr. Product Manager of Billing, you will collaborate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to define and drive the multi-year Next Generation Billing initiative. This strategic program is advancing the Kareo unified platform experience with billing automation and workflow intelligence for a more efficient and intuitive customer journey. This role's primary focus is equipping the billing squads and go-to-market (GTM) teams with industry insights and product definition that enable us to design, build, and launch solutions that resonate with customers and differentiate Kareo from its competition. Finally, you will empower the organization for success by ensuring the critical path deliverables and dependencies related to Next Generation Billing are aligned and primed for customer adoption.

Your Areas of Focus

  • Shape and drive Kareo's multi-year Next Generation Billing product strategy and contribute to the go-to-market launch readiness
  • Optimize the multi-year Next Generation Billing initiative for success by ensuring the critical path deliverables and dependencies are aligned and primed for customer adoption.
  • Advise leadership on emerging healthcare revenue management cycle technology and healthcare billing trends and identifying market opportunities and threats for the Kareo product portfolio.
  • Contribute to Product and UX's market research activities, including competitive analysis, buy vs. build, contextual inquiries, surveys, focus groups, usability, and compliance studies to identify market problems, business challenges, refine requirements, and shape solution design.
  • Lead and participate as an active member of the billing squads for product and design definition, iteration planning, business rule confirmation, solution reviews, and testing coverage validation.
  • Interface with other product and cross-functional teams as needed to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of Kareo practice management solutions by partnering with Product and Marketing to draft and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and prototype solutions.

 

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with 3-5 years of software industry experience
  • Ability to align and motive teams to achieve shared goals
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, with a bias towards action, ensuring alignment and buy-in along the way 
  • Ability to breakdown complex problems to create inputs to drive the strategic solutions
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability able to get your point across concisely and effectively
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare market; passion for driving positive impact
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of an extended cross-functional team
  • Capability to simultaneously handle multiple projects
  • The ability to influence without authority
