Job Description Job Summary
We're in search of a talented, proven experienced Senior Product Manager.
Supporting the Base Compute product line within JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Global Technology Infrastructure group, you will drive the adoption of product management methodologies and manage products which span both public and private cloud, collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders in effort to deliver against key priorities.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Product Manager that has a combination of technical and business skills and the flexibility to pivot between both as audience and needs demand. The candidate must be comfortable defining a client value proposition at the same time as partnering with technology peers to prioritize backlogs. The candidate should be comfortable presenting at senior levels of the organization and possess the ability to articulate concepts and strategic initiatives in a concise, clear & data driven manner while also available to scrum teams to refine epics and ensure that technical requirements are fully understood and delivered.
You will manage requirements gathering to development and delivery of features through all product lifecycle stages. Your day to day efforts will include partnering with key stakeholders spanning across multiple business lines as well as leading and managing junior product managers. You are highly organized, self-motivated and have had success managing a product backlog and establishing a road map. This role requires flexibility in adapting to both internal and external forces on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:

  • Build and establish a vision for the product line
  • Build and maintain roadmaps that depict feature/functionality timelines and balance the priorities of multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Directly manage and lead other product managers and resources to track releases, own P&L, and prioritize the product backlog
  • Lead a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, while managing the product delivery timelines
  • Partner with teams (customer experience, engineering, architecture, risk, ops, product) to manage prioritization and champion the product vision
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives
  • Support the development and architecture teams with any questions they may have
  • Regularly facilitate effective requirements discussions that focus on needs to assist in solving business problems
  • Write requirements - typically as user stories and epics
  • Share upcoming and current system features/functionality through end-user demos
  • Pore over data, establish KPIs and metrics that manage feature effectiveness of product suite
  • Synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions quickly, take risks, course-correct and adapt, and constantly iterate approach
  • Collaborate and Partner with 3rd party vendors / alliances to enhance product offering


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of product management experience with agile delivery
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Customer-centric focus; maintains rapport with technical end users
  • Proven track record of managing major product/feature launches
  • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle
  • Comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
  • Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Technical Experience working across both public and private cloud
    • Private Cloud (VMWare, Nutanix, etc.)
    • Private Cloud Compute Services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud etc.)
    • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
  • JIRA and Wiki proficiency required
  • Travel requirement: approximately 25% (as health & travel conditions permit)
