Senior Product Manager - Access Modeling

We're looking for a product manager with purpose, drive, and focus to join our product management team to help deliver on our vision to re-imagine how customers build and maintain role policies within their Identity Security journey. The position requires strong product management skills that balance market needs with SailPoint strategy and relies on strong communication and organization skills. A technical understanding of data, analytics, and machine learning along with experience delivering enterprise SaaS software in the rapidly evolving security and compliance industry is critical to the position. The product manager will work with internal and external stakeholders, including peer product managers from other lines of business, to help shape the vision and execute on delivering value that will be leveraged across the portfolio of SailPoint products. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous challenges, and working in a fluid environment.

What will I be doing?

  • Participate in all areas of the product lifecycle from ideation, user research, gathering requirements, to launch readiness
  • Drive product innovation and opportunities through feedback from our customers, internal stakeholders, and partners, as well as market data
  • Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand the impact, and gain consensus
  • Partner with engineering to develop, prioritize and manage the product backlog in a lean/agile environment
  • Maintain roadmap and coordinate adoption of deliverables with other product lines


  • Help define success metrics and measure the impact and results of new solutions
  • Represent SailPoint at industry events and with strategic customers and prospects


What will I need?

  • 6+ years of experience successfully bringing products to market in a product manager role
  • Experience managing enterprise SaaS products in a rapidly growing industry


  • Thorough understanding of product management and agile best practices
  • Demonstrable success working in a data-driven, outcome oriented environment using frameworks like OKRs (objectives and key results)
  • Demonstrated success in working with user experience and engineering teams to research, plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise SaaS products
  • Proven experience working with product marketing, marketing, and sales to successfully launch new products and enhancements to the market
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills


Education

  • BA/BS in business or technical field or work experience from the School of Hard Knocks
  • MS/MBA is a plus


Location + Travel

  • Our team is distributed all over the globe with our headquarters in the booming city of Austin, Texas. We care less about where you work from and more about ensuring your happiness from where it is you choose to work.
