Job Description

Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.
Our Company's enterprise Machine Learning & MLOps platform is called ADA (Advanced Data Analytics) and is positioned to serve data scientists and ML Engineers across the organization. ADA's mission is to build platform, capabilities and products that will make our Company's data science users extremely productive and democratize the use of AI & machine learning in support of intelligent, data and intelligence supported business decisions.
ADA is a new Eco-system and team's primary focus right now is to build the foundation. ADA consists of three major technologies, AWS Sagemaker, Databricks and Dataiku. ADA manages these different technologies like independent products.
The Product manager ADA - Sagemaker will be the leader of Sagemaker based product for the organization. Leader will be responsible for product's vision, adoption, engineering and evolution of this product.
Responsibilities:

  • As a product manager, Act like the CEO of the entire product tower, be responsible for growing the desk by demonstrating entrepreneurial ship & lean startup principles.
  • Own the product line, business case, Value preposition and realization, adoption, product strategy and product vision.
  • Work with peer product managers, adoption team to establish demand management, product management and evangelism strategies.
  • Own the product roadmap and engineering function to execute on the roadmap.
  • Bring product innovation ideas to leadership team and execute POCs to test out ideas.
  • Establish Adoption metrics, value realization metrics and OKRs for the product and work with adoption team to measure them and use them as data points for product centric decisions.
  • Create a productized, customer focused operational and engagement model for data bricks customers.
  • Develop high-level cost estimates to help guide the investment decisions and efforts to secure funding.
  • Own the product budget from forecast, execution and investment decision standpoint.
  • Identify new feature needs and establish business value preposition around requested feature.
  • Work with partners to develop and maintain long-standing relationships and leverage these relationships to augment resources to execute on the project.
  • Lead the team of cross functional resources to enable solutions to support divisional information needs.
  • Be the single point of accountability for the delivery of the solution that may need many platform and competency center resources.
  • Provides input to the other teams to guide the enterprise toward a target state as it relates to supported line of business.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience.
  • Excellent product management experience. We believe in strong entrepreneurial and start up mindset.
  • 5+ years of experience with Machine learning, data science and artificial intelligence project and product life cycle.
  • Good understanding of Amazon Sagemaker eco system and associated technology eco system. Candidate should know enough to set the strategic direction and lead technology staff.
  • Good understanding of MLOps processes, life cycle and modern tool kit.
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Sagemaker, Amazon Machine learning services (Lex, Comprehend etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise grade data management and machine learning platform. Preferably using Sagemaker and amazon ML Eco system.
  • Understanding of AWS eco system and various capabilities and services like S3, Step function, Lambda etc.
  • Familiar with newer Sagemaker services like Studio, wrangler, profiler, Clarify, jumpstart, autopilot etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing product teams, including engineering functions, demand management process, voice of customer, stakeholder management and defining and measuring product success via KPIs and OKRs.
  • Proven record of accomplishments in major enterprise level projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies like agile, etc.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
  • Strong business acumen, conversational skills, and ability to present to and negotiate with executive leadership.
  • Able to think out of the box on situation dependent issues, Comfortable working in a dynamic, product environment.
  • Good at managing diverse relationships across expertise, geography, and culture. Ability to influence with reasoning and data.
  • Open and receptive to listening, and discerning pain points; Leads with ideas, evidence and creates and fosters a collaborative atmosphere.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years of Sagemaker (or similar) experience, including strong experience with AWS eco system.
  • 5+ years' experience working in data enablement, Advanced analytics and data science, Machine learning area from platform or partitioner's standpoint.
  • Strong product management and people leadership skills.


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Formal product management training such as SaFe will be a plus
  • Exposure to Dataiku and data bricks will be a plus.
