Job Description Summary:
Requirements:

Experienced Product or Program Manager with 7+ years of product/program experience.

In depth knowledge of SQL (designing a database, INSERT, SELECT, DROP, aggregating functions, JOIN, dropping tables etc.) and Visualization tools e.g., Looker, MicroStrategy, QlikView, Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects is a must have.

Experience and/or appetite to learn Looker, Big Query, GCP, Big Data. Prior work experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Information Security, Budgeting, or management consulting highly valued.

Ability to work with wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers. Leads the internal teams when needed and contributes effectively to the success of those that they interact with regularly.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Can triage and resolve data / process issues. Able to evangelize best practices through prototyping or other means.

Evaluates and implements data solutions with various big-data technologies.
Good understanding of data processing, data structure optimization and design for scalability.

Excellent communication and team player skills to collaborate with cross functional teams for successful delivery of Data solutions.

Job Description:

  • Owns and is accountable for the design and development of a Data solution (Finance Data Platforms) or a Data Pipeline (example: Cross team integration such as Finance Data Mart, People Data & real Estate data Mart to bring Innovation in or Supporting Data aggregation.
  • Responsible for managing the entire life cycle of new products and platforms from design to solution design to build and implementation thereby managing, designing, and building world class finance products and experiences.
  • Participates in architecture discussions, proposes, and discusses solutions to system and product changes that are directly related to their area of focus.
  • Responsible for managing multiple domains within an applications area, providing necessary support and maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for the performance of the platforms and the KPIs related to their products. Work with Dev teams in an agile environment to deliver high quality products.
  • Adept at managing backlogs, roadmaps, writing stories and other typical agile processes.
  • Should be comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-functional teams, should have appetite to learn and be flexible to pick up new technology.
  • Bonus points for the knowledge of statistical programming languages such as Python and R.
