You will be a leader working within the Wealth & Retirement Solutions team, which is focused on building and maintaining best-in-class products, capabilities and services to support our global enterprise customers' needs.

As a Senior Level Product Manager with a focus on our Wealth solutions, you will be an internal and external champion driving the creation and market penetration of wealth products that provide top and bottom-line benefits to many of the largest financial institutions in the world. This role will be heavily focused on product management, supporting commercial and propositional growth and maintaining a broad market view as well as establishing and cultivating product relationships with FIS's partners.
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for:
Leading Wealth's Core processing solutions for customers

  • Building an integrated view of customer needs, market trends and competitive position
  • Assessing customer and business requirements - consolidating views from market experts, sales, and top-tier financial institutions
  • Identifying areas of commercial value and defining product propositions built on solid business cases
  • Identifying areas where we need to complement FIS Wealth capabilities with potential partners, managing relationships and commercial agreements with those partners
  • Leading the development of a Wealth product roadmap
  • Make build / buy trade-offs where applicable
  • Lead product relationships with FIS's key partner relationships
  • Drive simplification of technology stack through the domain transformation work working with technology partners
  • May require up to 25% travel


Provide cross functional leadership & customer advocacy for new Wealth product developments

  • Interpreting the needs of the business into new capabilities
  • Leading decision-making and development prioritization via thorough analysis and recommendations
  • Ensure business stability, growth and enhanced product profitability


Enable the organization with the knowledge and tools to drive commercial success

  • Work with go-to-market and Sales Enablement teams to deliver go-to-market strategy with clear customer segmentation, targeting and positioning
  • Transferring product expertise across the organization with expert product training and advocacy
  • Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of product information, effectively updating internal channels


Support the organization with expert knowledge of our products' technical and commercial capabilities

  • Be the lead contact for commercial teams across the portfolio
  • Supporting proposition queries by engaging with the sales team and top tier customers
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of trends in the industry
  • Attend and present on behalf of FIS at industry events


Team Leadership

  • Build and develop an engaged, high performing team
  • Develop and coach team members to fulfil their potential
  • Structure the organization to optimize execution, delivery and engagement
  • Define optimized collaboration mechanisms with the broader organization


What you bring:

  • Exceptional business acumen
  • Familiarity with the management of the product life cycle from inception, development to post-launch in order to support the sales cycle, and ability to gauge performance against original business case, enhance to meet evolving market needs, and, if/when applicable, drive toward ultimate sunset.
  • Prior experience -- 5+ years -- in the wealth industry, with demonstrable understanding of major trends and solutions in this space
  • Experience working with third party partners
  • Experience in delivering capabilities for large cross-border enterprise merchants
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex technical detail and also aggregate key points in a direct, impactful manner for non-technical and executive audiences
  • Proven ability to provide direct supervision to experienced professional-level individual contributors across multiple geographic regions

  • Proven skills in data analysis and use of data to create process efficiencies, enhance products, address complex customer problems and/or identify and capture new revenue opportunities

Added bonus if you have:

  • MBA a plus.
  • Experience in Software as a Service
  • Experience managing product development with an agile methodology, e.g. SAFe, with competence utilizing project management software (e.g. Rally/Clarity) to write concise user stories to communicate with the delivery teams and to ensure feasibility.
