Clarify is looking for a Director of Product Management to build and deliver impactful products used by healthcare provider and payer customers. This position is ideal for someone with consulting, product management, and/or healthcare data analysis experience who is looking to switch into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, mission-driven environment.
The Role:
- Lead new product feature development from concept to release and support
- Define user requirements in executable detail
- Support product release planning, data validation, and QA testing
- Be the expert on how features work together across the platform to bring value to customers
- Prioritize work with commercial and technical stakeholders and manage trade-offs
- Research the external landscape and participate in expert interviews to inform business requirements and build a differentiated offering
- Collaborate with engineering and design team to deliver a high caliber product with reasonable development effort
- Work closely with our client-facing teams and customers to explain existing features and understand new requirements
- Proactively builds productive internal and external working relationships
- Serve as SME for our clinical performance improvement products, supporting customer success and commercial teams on external calls when necessary
- Participating in sprint planning and release management processes; creating strong product documentation for use by customers as well as for internal knowledge creation and transfer
- Driving product design and user research in partnership with our design team
- Working with product marketing team to articulate messaging and competitive differentiation through case studies, blogs, white papers and videos
What we are looking for:
- Passion for Clarify’s mission and making a difference in healthcare
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree and have strong analytical experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., product management, consulting firm, healthcare analytics/technology)
- Experience working with payer/provider customers
- Domain knowledge related to value-based care
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to distill critical insights
- High attention to detail, extremely organized, and able to produce high quality analysis
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous environments
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional team members
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with claims/clinical/lab data
