Job Summary:

The Product Management Analyst will support the Data & Analytics team by generating and researching ideas to feed the Data & Analytics product roadmap while working with various NRG groups to ensure projects are beneficial to the stakeholders. The Product Management Analyst will also participate on project teams to develop and implement various products optimizing processes and the use of data across NRG.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Specify and perform research necessary to determine business requirements for products.
  • Develop project charters which detail the proposed products (business need, project description, proposed solution, project value, etc.).
  • Develop Use Cases for products that support various NRG business units.
  • Work with project teams by providing a link to the stakeholders and ensuring product goals are met within established deadlines.
  • Work with project teams to identify new features for products to be implemented in future releases.
  • Provide analysis and reports and present to management.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years in a research or product development role.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced research skills.
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely based upon research completed.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, with a high comfort level presenting to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail with several ongoing projects.
  • Knowledge of basic project management activities.
  • Knowledge of agile project management methods.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
  • Energy industry experience.

Physical Requirements:
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Occasional overtime work may be required.
  • Professional, fast paced, high intensity office environment.
  • Hybrid role. In office 1-2 days/week, remote work (from home office) 3-4 days/week.
