As a Lead Product Manager on the Rider Experience team, you will be at the center of delivering on our mission to help people go anywhere in their cities. You will lead in driving both the vision and strategy for evolving the transportation experience.
You'll oversee core elements of the Uber Rider app on-demand rides experience, and partner with teams across the company to ensure the entire experience is seamless and magical.
In partnership with your colleagues across Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Operations, you'll transform your strategy into a product that scales globally. This involves considering local customer needs, cultural nuance, and competitive environments. As a result, your work will touch millions of riders a day and is something your friends and family will experience.
What You'll Do:

  • You would be the PM on the core request flow in the Rider app, one of Uber's most highly-trafficked areas, executing on an exciting roadmap to materially shape transportation and help tens of millions of people get a ride.
  • Partner with design, research, data science, engineering, and other PM stakeholders to understand user needs and pain points, and then design holistic solutions to address them
  • Work with product teams around the company to understand new transportation use cases and integrate them appropriately in the Rider app


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished.
  • A passion for user experience: you can both guide design priorities for the team, and have an excellent sense of experience principles.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional at building and scaling consumer experiences, and able to wear both a platform and a vertical lead hat simultaneously.


  • Experience leading large-scale consumer mobile redesigns.
  • A computer science, statistics, or engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably including hands-on software development experience
