The team you'll be part of

Our team is part of the IP Telephony Applications (IPT) inside the CNS Core Networks. We, as 4LS Product NPI and Crisis Management are reponsible to maximize value capture within Core business via improving Time-To-Value by spearheading roll out of Core Portfolio products through New Product Introduction.

What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for a Special Support Engineer to our 4LS Product NPI team out of North America.

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

  • Represent product R&D towards Services organisations from technical perspective
  • Provide remote and/or onsite support for NPI (New Product Introduction) projects which includes solving complex issues and helping to execute test cases that are required by the project completion. You will be a key stakeholder for the succesfull execution of the assigned projects.
  • Resolves the Software issues at field as L4 product SME.
  • You will be involved into the troubleshooting and restoration of customer emergency situations



Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Advanced technical understanding of mobile networks and architecture, including Nokia VoX/VoLTE solution in the senior roles of Lead Architect.
  • Deep understanding of at least one (more is an advantage) of the Nokia Core Networks products, and their internal design & software code implementation especially: SBC, NTAS, CFX, NEF.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex problems
  • At least 10+ years of experience in technical fields of telecommunications in R&D, Development, Support or Services roles
  • Clear and effective communications
