As our Product Integration Manager-Applications, you will be leading applications development of software products, helping Spartan monetize data from radar sensors, functions, and applications. The objective is to bring to product opportunities both within Spartan and externally, that fill gaps in the market, generate new revenue opportunities and improve customer experience. You will combine technical understanding of automotive radar hardware and software design and development within the ADAS industry, with proven radar applications development and launch experience.

Salary parameters for this role are based on experience, with a base in the $140,000 to $160,000 range. In addition, we also offer equity participation, full benefits, 401K (with match), and a 4:1 days onsite:WFH option for most roles. This position is based at our company facility in Southeastern/Oakland County, MI. 

Specific Duties:

  • Own and develop a roadmap of radar product opportunities, developed in coordination with the Head of Product Development
  • Own the Product use cases and performance KPI's needed by the end customer, to drive product solutions that will be truly valuable
  • Develop product concepts, evaluation kits for promising opportunities that address real business and market needs, and pivot or stop work that will not result in significant value
  • Determine the value of current products being developed, with respect to the market and customer demand
  • Develop customer demonstrations, evaluation kits, mockups, or prototypes of Spartan products, that explain customer value
  • Own the demonstrations, showcasing solutions with relevant data sets
  • Develop competitive analysis and sales support material for data products
  • Report on customer feedback and requirement

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 10 years in product design and development of ADAS products
  • Radar experience is required
  • Market knowledge on ADAS
  • Must exhibit strong understanding of Advanced Safety & User Experience, which encompasses deep expertise in centralized computing platforms, advanced safety systems and automated driving, while acknowledging the growth in areas that enrich the in-vehicle experience
  • Experience working with customers to resolve complex issues; possesses strong problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven understanding of strategic reasoning and business/financial intelligence through meeting/exceeding customer requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree(s) preferred
