Job Description

The Product Consultant is responsible for consulting customers through the implementation of Daxko Engage (CRM tool), UpLaunch (CRM tool), and GroupEx Pro (scheduling tool); ensures there is strong long-term system adoption; and generates content in response to current marketing and industry trends.

The Product Consultant reports to the Product Consultant Team Lead.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Launch customers on product(s) contracted
• Acquire knowledge of all facets of the implementation process and apply functional knowledge
• Provide consult and recommendations on best practices and marketing initiatives
• Create Exceptional Experiences for customers by building and maintaining relationships during the implementation process for small-to-midsized customers
• Develop and manage project implementation plans; this includes project scoping, managing timelines, and maintaining documentation regarding the implementation process
• Effectively communicate and manage customer expectations, project risks and roadblocks
• Collaborate with Implementation, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support teams
• Ensure software is adopted and workflow processes are followed
• Generate engagement-focused thought leadership and content: writing, design, or other media
• Maintain 8.5+ for post launch survey results
• Travel: 5%

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Understanding of outbound marketing; content generation and design
• Must be able to demonstrate self-directed ability to handle and prioritize multiple customer projects and incoming customer requests
• Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication needed, including the ability to communicate difficult or complex concepts via telephone, email, or through online training
• Professional-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Create, build, and maintain relationships and rapport with clients
• Identify complex problems and information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain exceptional cross-team communication
• Ability to handle stressful situations or dissatisfied customers
• Train and teach others how to use product(s)

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
• Six (6+) months of related experience required

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• One (1) to two (2) years related experience
• Adobe Creative Cloud experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus
• Passion for nonprofits
• Prior experience using member management software

The budgeted salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
