ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking a Product Analytics Senior Manager to support the Head of Product Analytics tracking strategic plans, driving organization of complex analyses and experimentation with cross-functional teams, and preparing key deliverables for Product Operations. You will use your strong analytical, technical, business, organizational and communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. The Product Analytics Senior Manager will be responsible for data driven decision-making for Audible's Product and Tech leadership. Working closely with their product, tech and analytics colleagues, they will develop storytelling assets, execute management mechanisms such as business review reporting, and develop a picture of how the product experience is performing for our customers and our business with a focus on results, execution, speed, and learning.

As a Product Analytics Senior Manager, you will...

  • Bridge the gap between strategy and execution to help track and share metrics, plans and roadmaps to ensure our product experience delivers impact for our customers and our business.
  • Develop perspectives on key customer behaviors rooted in our product.
  • Prepare dashboards to illustrate key product trends and drivers, effectively interpret and visualize data, and present to senior leadership regularly.
  • Draft and support strategic communications and presentations for Product Leadership, CEO Directs and other senior groups.
  • Assure key information gets to Product Leadership in an optimal format at the right time to prep for meetings and presentations - with appropriate understanding of context.
  • Leverage your technical skills to research and mine big data sources to understand and develop a point of view to guide the development of product experiences.
  • Provide provide key meeting support and serve as proxy for the Head of Product Analytics.
  • Be an experimentation, causation, and scientific method practitioner and enthusiast.


Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years equivalent relevant experience in a data driven/analytical role and advanced/technical degree in Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Sciences (Political or Natural) or similar field.
  • Experience with data/analytical tools including Excel, Tableau, Adobe, and querying relational databases, e.g. SQL.
  • Experience writing strategy documents for executive audiences with clear recommendations in the midst of ambiguity.
  • Experience executing on projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in the areas of planning and process, product and/or financial planning and strategy execution.
  • Experience using quantitative data and metrics to communicate ideas.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated with the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Interest in developing skills to source, produce, and automate reporting to drive improvements in business processes.
  • Intellectual curiosity for what creates value for our customers and drives the business.
  • Demonstrated high achievement and independence in prior roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal); can succinctly and clearly communicate, and are able to produce documents and presentations that are ready for leadership.
  • Background in content/media, marketing tech, software development, and/or internet industries.
  • An understanding of product analytics, ecommerce analytics, marketing analytics, experimentation, and econometric techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated with the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
