What will your day look like?
The Fintech Partnerships team is a critical function for Alliant Credit Union in strategically deploying capital market strategies to maintain balance sheet liquidity, diversification, loan origination channel flexibility, and the achievement of various profitability targets. Essential to the success of the Fintech Partnerships is the development of partnership relationships with indirect lenders and fintech entities that require financial partners for their loans. Targeted partners are generally "fintech" specialty finance companies that target consumer and/or residential loans that vary in terms of weighted average life as well as expected rate of returns.
You would work at the direction of the Manager, Product to operationalize and automate new product offerings. The Product Analyst will further work with the Manager, Product to supply multiple internal partners with detailed product specifications and drive out downstream dependencies and data requirements. It is critical for the Product Analyst to be able to serve as a product expert and resource, making sure that objectives are defined, communicated and achieved in accordance with the credit union's priorities and targets. The Fintech Analyst will seek regular input from Asset-Liability management, Credit Risk, Legal, Lending, Technology, Information Security and other internal groups in pursuit of the organization's overarching objectives.
The Product Analyst will "own" and be responsible for the day to day relationship management of their assigned partnership. Upon the achievement of predetermined automation and performance objectives, the Product Analyst will oversee the transfer of the new product to either the residential or consumer line of business depending on the product's characteristics. General direction is received from the Manager, Product.
This position requires approximately 0-10% travel.

- Comprehensive command of new loan products including product pricing, legal agreements, credit expectations, performance, data feeds, compliance, quality assurance, operations.
- Strong ability to coordinate the flow of information from an external partner to multiple internal business partners.

- Responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, delivery, documentation, and oversight of the timely achievement of critical milestones.

- Identification and resolution of issues that would present a risk to on-time implementation of product launch.
- Engage the appropriate technical resources and department leaders to identify resource requirements, milestones, timelines, risks and mitigation plans.
- Participates in the onboarding, processing, and reporting of new loans
- Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive organizational goals and successfully navigate a complex organization.
- Develop long-standing and valuable relationships with external partners for product integration and future product growth opportunities
- Validates the effectiveness and user acceptance testing of all automation prior to transition of the relationship to the Lending line of business.
- Produce reports and scorecards to update senior leadership.
- Coordinate launch of new products and program updates for respective indirect partnerships
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintain integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Qualifications

You'll be a great fit if in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar quantitative discipline and 1 or more years of experience in one or a combination of the following: consulting, accounting, project management, product owner, capital markets, or banking industry
- Experience with lending preferred
- Strong technical skills, including accounting and asset valuation/pricing modeling
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality results
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of project management processes and practices
- Proven ability to execute on deliverables
