Job Description
JOB
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Product Analyst II in Durham, NC, to own products and features and develop compelling user stories that meet the scope and goals of the software system and product. Conduct detailed analysis of existing FIS HOST systems, including IBS, Horizon, Systematics and P9 by reading and reviewing manuals and technical specifications to develop new features and expand existing products and features. Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, functional specifications, test procedures, and quality standards. Prepare system workflows and low fidelity mockups to conceptualize software system behavior utilizing MS Visio, JIRA, UML and Adobe. Test, maintain, and monitor systems to ensure agreed upon system behavior is developed and delivered. Review manual test scripts and scenarios used by the QA team to ensure a sufficient level of test coverage exist. During the development and deployment cycle, triage and troubleshoot product features by reviewing the Splunk logs and JSON request and response to determine the validity, type, and potential root cause of the malfunction. Maintain the inventory, integrity and track new and existing features and artifacts using version control mechanisms, including SVN, GIT, SharePoint, and Confluence.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: identifying requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions to ensure alignment with business and IT strategies; communicating design concepts, business and functional requirements, detailed and complex designs, risks and impacts, alternate solutions, and effort estimates to a broad range of people, including verbal, presentations, and written documentation; utilizing Agile SDLC practices; creating workflow diagrams, user stories, and low fidelity mockups; conducting user story grooming, refinement, and estimation processes to define the scope of the development backlog; performing and executing functional test scenarios for user acceptance testing; utilizing web and open APIs, data and field level mapping, and identifying integration points between multiple complex software systems that are needed to design and develop large complex software solutions. Utilizing tools, including MS Visio, UML, Adobe, Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, MS Office, GIT, SVN, MS Teams, and SharePoint. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible. 25% travel is required to various and unanticipated FIS Management Services, LLC office and client sites nationally.
