THE PURPOSE:

The Product Analyst - Extension will play a key role in assisting the Product Management Team with the consumer experience for Slickdeals, the web’s largest deal community with over 18 million visitors monthly. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in shaping detail-level product requirements and a strong background in data / analytics. This position will be joining our Extensions and Loyalty team where we are building a best-in-class loyalty and cashback program to help consumers shop and save even more money.

THE ROLE:

• Works with product, engineering, business development, marketing and finance team to provide assistance and detailed support to achieve OKRs
• Works with Product team, software and BI engineers to maintain, improve existing and develop new KPIs to service business’ needs
• Owns development of reports using internal and external analytics platforms to allow data consumers self-service
• Documents business requirements and process flows with direction and assistance from Product Managers
• Builds ad-hoc reports and POC requests where standard reporting is not yet available
• Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms
• Assist Product Managers in formulating requirements, preparing data for presentations, and providing overall support for the Product organization focused on Loyalty and Extension
• Liaison for documentation with offshore engineering team - assist in creating process / business flow documentation for use with the engineering team and other areas

THE CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent working experience in a related field
• Has demonstrable Product / Business Analyst experience where the candidate has run reports, modified data queries, and regularly worked with data.
• Ability to write clear and concise product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for both large and small projects.
• Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces, with an ability to create examples through wireframes
• Strong ability to gather and analyze data to measure the effectiveness or impact of the products you deliver.
• Strong background in ability to use tools and coding to run SQL queries, tableau workbooks, and excel data structures.
• Ability to create documentation for process flows, business requirements / BRDs, and other written documentation as needed

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Has product development experience involving affiliate marketing or internet retail sites
• Has a strong grasp of lean and agile methodologies
• Has a background in Business Analysis or Product Analysis with ability to focus on multiple priorities in parallel.
• Knows JIRA and Confluence in and out.
